Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist in providing quality patient care. The LPN will work closely with RNs and physicians to ensure patients receive the highest level of medical attention and comfort. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, injections, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist physicians and RNs with patient examinations and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and health management.
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of an RN.
- Ensure infection control standards and safety procedures are followed.
- Support patient mobility and personal hygiene as needed.
Skill & Experience
Required:
- Valid LPN license in [State/National].
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or rehabilitation nursing.
