Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse (ICU Nurse) to provide life-saving medical care to critically ill patients. The ICU Nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure the best possible outcomes. This role requires excellent clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including vital signs and life support equipment.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and defibrillators.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Skill & Experience
Required:
- Valid RN license in [State/National].
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in an ICU, ER, or trauma unit.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
